How was the first step? the beginning…
At the middle of 2014 I feel so many times a thing, that I have to made something new, something which is different than the current things in my life.
The excavators, trucks were my favourites in my childhood.
At the end of autumn I seen a video on YouTube… an RC excavator with real hydraulic system.
WOW! That was the first “impulse”… that was the first step, the beginning.
Earlier I seen some big excavators in a mine, Pécs – Hungary. Those were awesome machines.
The CAT 374 is a very impressive machine. In my opinion it was a good choice. Not too little, not too big… (oh yes, the real machine is BIG!) now I talking about a 1:14 scaled model. So yes, this model is ok for me, not too little, not too big. I can handle this size during the construction. I hope, this will be a usable scale.
An other aspect was, that, the machine can be able to digging really when I chosen this machine and this scale ratio. Can be able to digging really… not just in sand, or in fine soil. I see the limits of project and machine, like weight, cylinder force, hydraulic pump pressure…
I know, that this model is not a real excavator, but I will do everything, that the machine has to be able to digging “everywhere”…
